For the past couple months I've been working in our Training ministry team where I've been focusing a lot on our Staff Internship. It's a year-long program that focuses on leadership, growth, and development. It's a great opportunity for past DTS students to jump into missions, gain experience, and have the chance to step out in leadership. The program covers a range of topics, which I help organize speakers for. Topics cover: YWAM foundational values, biblical leadership, and practical aspects of serving at our center. Interns are able to connect into teams where they gain ownership, skill, and leadership opportunity.
I'm currently overseeing 10 students (our April intake). It's been great getting to be part of the journey of watching interns expand their opportunities to serve, develop as an individual, and get equipped with practical leadership mentoring and experience.
