The October DTS and IPHC (health care school) recently returned from outreach. They went to four different locations: East Timor, Outback Australia, Thailand and Papua New Guinea. We had a report back night as a base which gave the students an opportunity to share testimonies of the journey they got to go on. Hearing their testimonies was so incredible.
The team that went to East Timor shared a story about how they were sharing the gospel one night and had people throwing stones at them; but they did not stop. They endured the persecution and saw two people receive salvation!
The team that went to Thailand shared how they went to a Hill Tribe village and got to pray for people who were sick. The people they prayed for reported that they had been healed and wanted more prayer!
The team that went to Papua New Guinea shared a story about a little boy who was suffering from malnutrition. This little boy was born out of wedlock and his mother died while giving birth. The people in his village shunned him and would not help him because they thought he was cursed. It wasn’t until the team went to his village that people started helping and providing for him. The team leader reported that she had never seen anyone that badly malnourished and that he was probably a day away from death; but now this little boy has hope. They got to share with the village that this little boy is a gift and he is fearfully and wonderfully made by God.
It was so inspiring to hear these testimonies of how God is still at work! These teams were able to bring hope and life to people. They had many people decide to give their lives to the Lord. They were able to show people the love of Christ and the joy He brings to our lives!
Thank you for your support because you help make these testimonies possible! The body of Christ is so incredible. We each play a significant role. We are each fearfully and wonderfully made. Our God is so amazing and people need to continue to hear about His truth and freedom. Praise God for the unsearchable and glorious riches of Christ that we get to preach about!
